Gold plated chains
are pocket friendly option for the people who are obsessed with gold. It looks
almost like real gold jewellery without spending a fortune on it.
Goldsmiths use electricity and/or chemicals to deposit a
thin layer of gold over silver or any other metal. Usually silver or copper is
used for gold plating, as they are strong metals and can hold the gold layer
