How to care for Sterling Silver Jewellery
Women love to adorn themselves with jewellery. Jewellery
can enhance women’s beauty and make them shine. Silver chains are one of the trends
in jewellery one wears, but it’s hard to take care of silver and reducing
tarnish.
All jewellery needs some care and
attention to be kept at its sparkling best. If you're not sure where to start,

1. GIVE
IT A WASH

regularly, it will fill with Grime and dust. Clean your jewellery with warm
water using liquid soap. Use cloth or bristled brush to help get grime out of
cervices. Once it’s clear make sure your dry it quickly.
2. REMOVE TARNISH WITH A POLISHING CLOTH
With regular wear silver
comes in direct contact with oxygen (air), so it loses its polish and it might
get tarnish. Sterling silver will tarnish over the period of time. It needs
polishing at regular intervals. Use polishing cloth to remove tarnish.
3. Avoid Hard Cleaning
Cleaning up jewellery with
toothpaste or baking soda will remove tiny amount of metal every time you clean
it. It might damage your precious jewellery. So, be gentle with your silver and
don’t use any acidic products / chemicals for cleaning. Too much Cleaning may
not be good for your jewellery.
4. Store your jewellery carefully
Put your jewellery in box
or air tight plastic zip lock bag. By keeping jewellery in open, you risk its shine
and beauty. Avoid putting various jewellery pieces together in a box, as they
can rub against each other and scratch or damage small pieces.
